What is the QLD Diretory?
The QLD Directory is a human-edited and maintained global directory of websites categorized by relevance for easy navigation.
Why should I submit my website?
We provide a means for websites to get indexed and found by major and minor search engines in a timely manner, while helping partners increase their PageRanks and positioning via the addition of a one-way link. The QLD Directory also helps to increase website exposure and traffic through targeted categories that help users find what they want.
How much does it cost to list my website?
There is a one-time fee of $24.95 for the review and listing process. We accept all major credit cards through PayPal.
What does my review and listing fee pay for?
Your one-time review and listing fee pays for a guaranteed review of your submission within 48 hours. If acceppted, your website is permenatly added to our directory. Your listing is automatically reviewed and renwed each year at no additional charge.
Can any website be listed?
We have some strict guidelines on our approval process. Our goal is to network quality sites that offer something valuable to users. We understand value comes in many forms and can be subjective, so we've designed a checklist for our reviewers to follow that ensures all websites are judged on their own merit. We review each website on content, design, usability, and value (to name a few). Websites we will absolutely NOT allow in our directory include:
  • Websites that contain pornographic imagery in any form
  • Websites that promote hatred or racism
  • Websites without content
  • Websites that are constituted as banner or link farms
  • Websites that are non-functional
  • Websites that utilize Black Hat Marketing techniques for SEO
  • Websites that contain warez or other illegal downloads
If you have any questions on our reviewing process, please feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to answer any question you may have.
What happens if my submission is rejected?
We try hard to maintain a quality directory, and as a result websites that do not follow our rules and guidelines may be rejected by our reviewers. In the case of your listing submission is rejected, a detailed explanation of the rejection reason will be emailed to your account on file. Once you've addressed the issues, you may contact customer support and request another review at no additional charge.
I requested a second review and my website was again rejected. What do I do now?
If your website is rejected a second time, you must re-submit your website and pay another review and listing fee. Please note review and listing fees are NOT refundable.
